Hydraulic oil (mineral) is a kind of hydraulic fluid, which is mainly composed of mineral oil, an organic lubricant made from petroleum or animal fats. It is used as a lubricant and power transmission medium in hydraulic systems such as automotive, industrial and agricultural machinery. Mineral hydraulic oil is designed to withstand high pressures, reduce wear on machinery and dissipate heat generated by friction in the system.
