For pressure class PN 40 and above, we recommend switching to semi-metallic or metallic gaskets – spiral wound or camprofile. For extreme applications (PN 100 and above), RTJ rings or camprofile gaskets with a graphite layer are suitable.
RTJ (Ring Type Joint) is a metal ring gasket for high-pressure flanges in the oil and gas industry. It is used on flanges according to ASME B16.5 and API 6A where standard flat gaskets are insufficient – typically for pressures above 100 bar.
Yes. We cut flat flange gaskets according to drawings, samples, or specified dimensions from the customer. For spiral wound, camprofile, and RTJ gaskets, we manufacture according to standards or individual specifications. Contact us with your inquiry.
For aggressive media, we recommend PTFE gaskets or Teflon jackets (chemical resistance pH 1–14). For a combination of high temperatures and chemical resistance, camprofile gaskets with a PTFE layer or spiral wound gaskets with PTFE filling are suitable.
