trinitrotoluene (TNT) - Chemical resistance

Trinitrotoluene (TNT) is a crystalline, yellow to light red solid powder. It is used as an explosive and military blasting material. TNT is stable, has a moderate sputtering effect, and is easily molded into shapes. In the civilian sector it is used in construction, but its production and handling require caution because of its potential toxicity.
