DMAB, Methyl Yellow
Dimethylaminoazobenzene (DMAB) is a synthetic compound that has been used in the past as a food dye and as an intermediate in the textile industry. The azoxy form of DMAB is the yellow form of the molecule. However, its use as a food additive has been banned in many countries due to concerns about its potential health risks.
