Pumps XVN-F

The vertical multistage centrifugal pumps of the XVN-F series from SACI Pumps are designed for pressure systems and industrial applications, including operations with chemically demanding media. The hydraulic components made of AISI 316 stainless steel allow for use in systems such as reverse osmosis or when pumping saline water. The range includes four size series with a flow rate of up to 14 m³/h and a pumped medium temperature from −15 to +120 °C.

Vertical Multistage Pumps for Chemically Demanding Applications

The XVN-F pumps are centrifugal pumps with a vertical in-line arrangement, where the suction and discharge ports are on the same axis. The multistage design allows for achieving higher delivery heads under various flow requirements. This series is particularly intended for industrial installations where material resistance to the pumped medium is required.

The impellers, diffusers, shaft, outer casing, intermediate chambers, and suction and discharge bodies are made of AISI 316 stainless steel. The upper casing of the pump is made of high-strength cast iron and does not come into contact with the pumped medium.

The suitable design is chosen based on the required flow rate, delivery head, temperature, and chemical composition of the pumped medium.

The XVN-F series includes four size variants that differ in flow rate, delivery head, motor power, and connection dimensions:

The above pumps have flange connections in DIN design. The specific delivery head and motor power depend on the chosen model and the number of hydraulic stages. The decisive factors for selecting the appropriate pump are the required operating point, the properties of the pumped medium, and the operating conditions.

In which applications are XVN-F pumps used?

XVN-F pumps are designed for industrial installations and pressure systems, including applications with chemically demanding media. They are used, for example, in reverse osmosis systems, for pumping seawater or water containing dissolved acids. The suitability of a specific design depends on the composition of the medium and operating conditions.

What is the difference between XV-F and XVN-F pumps?

The main difference lies in the material construction of the hydraulic parts. The XV-F series uses corrosion-resistant steel AISI 304 for selected hydraulic components, while the XVN-F series utilizes steel AISI 316 for both the suction and discharge bodies. Therefore, XVN-F pumps are also intended for applications where higher corrosion resistance is required. Specific suitability is assessed based on the pumped medium.

How to choose the right XVN-F pump?

When selecting, the required flow rate (Q), head (H), chemical composition, and temperature of the pumped medium are important. Operating pressure and connection dimensions are also taken into account. The specific model is chosen based on the pump's characteristic curve and the desired operating point.
