VAT Pumps

The vertical multistage centrifugal pumps of the VAT series from the manufacturer SACI Pumps are designed for pressure systems and auxiliary pumping in fire protection systems. They allow operation with frequency converters and utilize a multi-stage design to achieve higher delivery heights. The range includes three size series with a flow rate of up to 45 m³/h and a pumped water temperature of up to 45 °C.

Vertical Multistage Pumps for Pressure Systems

VAT pumps utilize a multistage centrifugal design, where individual hydraulic stages progressively increase the pressure of the pumped water. They are intended for pressure installations and can also serve as auxiliary pumps in fire pumping units.

The design varies according to the size series. The VAT 127 L and VAT 163 L models use impellers and diffusers made of the thermoplastic polymer Noryl, with a shaft and hydraulic casing made of stainless steel. In the VAT 205 series, the diffusers are made of cast iron, the impellers are made of Noryl material with bronze elements, and the shaft is made of AISI 304 stainless steel. All models are equipped with an easily accessible mechanical seal.

The pumps are driven by an asynchronous electric motor with external cooling, designed for continuous operation. The motors have an IP55 protection class and F insulation class. The specific design is chosen based on the required flow rate, head, and operating conditions.

We Supply VAT Vertical Pumps from SACI Pumps

The VAT series includes three size variants that differ in hydraulic parameters, motor power, and connection dimensions:

The VAT 127 L pumps have a suction and discharge connection of DN 40, the VAT 163 L series DN 50, and the VAT 205 series DN 65. The specific operating point is determined based on the required flow rate and head using the pump's characteristic curve.

Where are VAT pumps used?

VAT pumps are designed for pressure systems and auxiliary pumping in fire pump units. They can work with frequency converters that allow for the regulation of motor speed according to system requirements.

What is the difference between the VAT 127 L, VAT 163 L, and VAT 205 series?

The individual series differ primarily in flow rate, head, motor power, and the design of hydraulic components. The VAT 127 L achieves a flow rate of up to 14 m³/h, the VAT 163 L up to 26 m³/h, and the VAT 205 up to 45 m³/h. The required operating point is crucial for selecting a specific pump.

Can VAT pumps be supplied with the suction and discharge ports on the same side?

Yes, VAT series pumps can also be supplied upon request in a design with the suction and discharge ports on the same side.
