Fluorine is a highly reactive and toxic gas with a light yellow colour. Fluorine gas is the most chemically reactive and electronegative element, is extremely hazardous and is usually handled and stored in the form of its salts or in specially designed facilities. It is used in many industrial and manufacturing applications, including as a component in the production of uranium hexafluoride for nuclear power plants, as a cleaning agent and etchant in the semiconductor industry, and as a component in the manufacture of refrigerants and propellants.

Reinforced with bonded smooth Ni foil 0.013 mm thick (material: 2.4066). For low and medium pressures.
