Animal oils are usually extracted from the fat of mammals, birds and fish. Examples of animal oils include lard and beef tallow. These oils have been used for centuries for cooking, lighting and as lubricants. Vegetable oils, on the other hand, are usually extracted from the seeds, nuts and fruits of plants. Examples of vegetable oils include olive, sunflower and palm oils. These oils are commonly used in cooking, baking and as additives in processed foods, as well as in the production of biofuels and industrial products such as paints and plastics.

Reinforced with bonded smooth Ni foil 0.013 mm thick (material: 2.4066). For low and medium pressures.
Reinforced with 0.1 mm thick perforated reed plate (material: AISI 316). For medium and higher pressures.

Multilayered sealing material made of expanded graphite reinforced with a larger number of inserts without the use of adhesives. Suitable for higher pressures and temperatures.
It is used in refrigeration and applications where the seal is exposed to external weathering.
FKM has excellent chemical and heat resistance. It is used in mineral oil and grease based applications.
