Sodium Hydrosulfite
Sodium hydrosulfite is a white crystalline powder that is used as a reducing agent in various industrial and chemical applications. It is commonly used to remove sulphur impurities from chemicals and fuels and also to bleach and reduce various materials such as textiles, paper and leather. Sodium hydrosulfite is also used in the food industry as a bleaching agent for flour and as an antioxidant to prevent oxidation of food products.
