Wood pulp solution is a liquid mixture that is formed by dissolving wood pulp fibres in water or other solvents. This breaks down the wood fibres into smaller pieces or dissolves them completely, thus producing a suspension of pulp in a liquid medium. Wood pulp solutions can be further processed and used in a variety of applications, for example in the production of viscose fibres, cellulose derivatives or as a base for paints, adhesives and specialty chemicals.
