Horizontal Single-Stage Pumps According to EN 733

KDN pumps utilize a single-stage centrifugal design with a cast iron spiral casing and a closed, dynamically balanced impeller. Unlike the monoblock series NKM-G and NKP-G, the pump and the electric motor are separate units connected by a flexible coupling and mounted on a common base plate.

The standard version includes a cast iron impeller, a shaft made of AISI 420 stainless steel supported in two ball bearings, and a mechanical seal with a sealing pair made of carbon and silicon carbide with Viton elastomer.

The pumps are available with either a four-pole or two-pole electric motor depending on the specific design. They are intended for pumping water and chemically neutral liquids with similar properties, free of solid and abrasive particles. The temperature range of the pumped liquid is −10 to +140 °C, and the maximum operating pressure of the standard version is 16 bar.

We Supply KDN Horizontal Pumps from SACI Pumps

The KDN series includes eight size variants that differ in connection dimensions, hydraulic parameters, and electric motor power:

KDN pumps have a flange connection PN 16, except for the KDN 150 size, which has a PN 10 flange. The selection of a specific design is based on the required flow rate, head, properties of the pumped liquid, and operating conditions.

Where are KDN pumps used?

KDN pumps are designed for water supply, water circulation in heating systems, and in air conditioning or cooling systems. They are also used for pumping liquids in agriculture, horticulture, and industrial operations.

What is the difference between KDN pumps and NKM-G or NKP-G?

The main difference is the construction arrangement. While the NKM-G and NKP-G series have a monoblock design, KDN pumps have the electric motor and pump as separate units connected by a flexible coupling on a common base plate.

What variants of electric motors are available for KDN pumps?

KDN pumps are offered with either a two-pole or four-pole electric motor. The different designs vary in speed, which affects their operating parameters. Availability of variants depends on the specific size of the pump.
