KDN 125 (1 450 rpm) is a standardized horizontal single-stage pump in accordance with DIN-EN 733, in a baseplate-mounted design with a flexible coupling. Nominal discharge nozzle diameter DN 125, suction nozzle diameter DN 150. Flange connection PN 16 in accordance with DIN 2533.
Volute casing made of GG25 cast iron (UNI ISO 185), shaft made of AISI 420 stainless steel. Impeller made of GG25 cast iron, dynamically balanced. Standard mechanical seal with carbon/silicon carbide faces and Viton O-rings in accordance with DIN 24960. Gland packing (PTFE-impregnated ramie) available on request.
Available as a hydraulic section / wet end (bare shaft), a pump on a baseplate without a motor, or a complete unit with a motor. 4-pole motor only (1 450 rpm). Pumped liquid temperature -10 °C to +140 °C, max. operating pressure 16 bar.
KDN 125 (1 450 rpm) is available with motors up to 75 kW—significantly more power than the enbloc NKM-G 125 (max. 22 kW). This makes it suitable for even the most demanding high-volume applications in DN 125.

The KDN 125 (1 450 rpm) on a baseplate offers motors up to 75 kW (the NKM-G 125 has a maximum of 22 kW) and easy servicing. The hydraulic section is identical. The KDN also uses an AISI 420 shaft, Viton seals and offers a stuffing box seal.
The DN 125 with a size 250 casing and large impellers is designed for high flow rates at lower heads. At 2 900 rpm, the power input would exceed reasonable limits. For applications requiring a high head in DN 125, consider a smaller DN with a 2-pole motor.
KDN pumps come with a 24-month warranty.
