KDN 32 (1 450 rpm) is a standardised horizontal single-stage pump in accordance with DIN-EN 733, supplied mounted on a baseplate with a flexible coupling. The nominal discharge nozzle diameter is DN 32, and the suction nozzle diameter is DN 50. Flanged connections: PN 16 to DIN 2533.
Volute casing made of GG25 cast iron (UNI ISO 185), shaft made of AISI 420 stainless steel. Impeller made of GG25 cast iron, dynamically balanced. Standard carbon/silicon carbide mechanical seal with Viton O-rings to DIN 24960. Stuffing box packing (PTFE-impregnated ramie) available on request.
Available as a hydraulic end / wet end (bare shaft), a pump on a baseplate without a motor, or a complete unit with motor. 2-pole (2 900 rpm) or 4-pole (1 450 rpm) motor. Fluid temperature -10 °C to +140 °C, max. operating pressure 16 bar.

The hydraulic section is identical – the same volute casing and impellers in accordance with DIN-EN 733. The difference is in the design: KDN 32 (1 450 rpm) is mounted on a baseplate, with a choice of motor and easy servicing. NKP-G 32 / NKM-G 32 are close-coupled – more compact, but the motor cannot be replaced independently. KDN also uses an AISI 420 shaft and Viton seals.
Choose KDN when you need a choice of motor (power, manufacturer, special design), easy servicing (the motor and pump can be separated without disconnecting the piping), or higher capacities than the close-coupled range offers.
KDN pumps come with a 24-month warranty.
