VAT 205 is the largest model in the VAT range, with 2 1/2" suction and discharge connections and a flow rate of up to 45 m³/h (750 l/min). Five configurations with 2 to 6 stages cover heads from 23 m to 158 m.
With motors rated at 7,5–18,5 kW, the VAT 205 exceeds the typical range of compact pumps and enters the industrial power class—making it suitable for large pressure-boosting stations, main pumps in fire sprinkler systems and industrial distribution networks. All versions are three-phase 400/690 V only.
The GG-25 cast iron suction and discharge casings, bronze impellers with inserts, and Noryl diffusers (GFN-2). The shaft and casing are made of AISI 304 stainless steel. Ceramic/graphite mechanical seal. Mating flanges included.

The standard maximum operating head and maximum operating flow rate are highlighted on the chart with a solid line.
VAT 205 has threaded connections (2 1/2") and counter-flanges included, making installation easier. XV-F 32 has DIN DN 65 flanges, a cartridge mechanical seal, and handles media temperatures up to 120 °C (compared with 45 °C for VAT). Choose XV-F for industrial applications involving higher temperatures or requiring flanged connections. For simpler installations with threaded connections, choose VAT 205.
Higher flow rates and power require greater mechanical strength from the impellers. Bronze offers better fatigue strength and corrosion resistance than Noryl, which is used in the smaller VAT 127 L and 163 L models.
VAT pumps come with a 24-month warranty.
