VAT 163 L is the mid-range model in the VAT series, with 2" suction and discharge connections and a flow rate of up to 26 m³/h (433 l/min). Eight configurations with 2 to 9 stages cover heads from 12 m to 154 m.
With motors rated at 3–9.3 kW, VAT 163 L is more powerful than VAT 127 L and is suitable for larger jockey pump applications, medium-sized pressure booster sets and auxiliary circuits. Variants L-2 to L-4 are available at 230/400 V, and L-5 and above at 400/690 V.
The suction and discharge casings are made of GG-25 cast iron, and the impellers and diffusers of Noryl (GFN-2). The shaft and casing are made of AISI 304. Mechanical seal: ceramic/graphite. Counter-flanges included. The ports are on the same side (opposed arrangement available on request).

The VAT 163 L has a larger connection (2" vs. 1 1/2"), a higher flow rate (26 m³/h vs. 14 m³/h), a higher head (154 m vs. 131 m) and more powerful motors (3–9,3 kW vs. 1,5–4 kW). Choose the VAT 163 L for larger installations with higher demand.
