Monocanal 65/2 is a submersible pump with a single-channel open impeller and a DN 65 PN 10 discharge flange. The two-pole asynchronous motor (2,850 rpm) delivers high head – up to 23 m – in a compact design, with three variants ranging from 1.5 to 4.2 kW.
The single-channel impeller with an integrated cutting edge (trancia-fibre) reliably handles fibrous materials, textile waste and solid particles – with a free passage of 40 mm (C.236–237) and 45 mm (C.247). This design eliminates the clogging that is more common with vortex impellers when pumping fibrous media.
Main components made of GG25 cast iron. Shaft made of AISI 420, chain ring made of AISI 416. Double mechanical seal – motor side ceramic/graphite (CA/CE/Viton), wet side silicon carbide (SiC/SiC/Viton). A moisture sensor (seal leakage detector) and AISI 316 stainless-steel cable entry compliant with ATEX EN 60079 are standard equipment.
IP 68 protection rating, maximum submergence 20 m, liquid temperature up to 40 °C, pH 6–10. 10 m cable.

The Monocanal series single-channel impeller has an open channel with a cutting edge, making it suitable for media containing fibrous debris (textiles, grass, paper) that could wrap around a vortex impeller. The Monocanal series also has a 2-pole motor (2,850 rpm), so it achieves a higher head than the 4-pole VT series at the same power rating. The VT series, on the other hand, offers greater solids passage (75–130 mm vs. 40–45 mm) and is better suited to coarse sludge without fibres.
The Monocanal 65/2 has a DN 65 discharge flange and a power rating of 1.5–4.2 kW, making it suitable for small and medium-sized installations. The Monocanal 80/2 has a DN 80 flange and a power rating of 5.5–30 kW, making it suitable for main pumping stations and large wastewater treatment plants.
