Monocanal 80/2 is the most powerful model in the Monocanal range, with a DN 80 PN 16 discharge flange and 5,5–30 kW motors. The two-pole asynchronous motor (2 850 rpm) delivers a head of up to 63 m—significantly higher than that of 4-pole submersible pumps of the same power. Seven variants (C.254–C.271) cover flow rates of up to 158 m³/h.
The range is divided into two design groups:
Compact design (C.254–257) – solid passage 60 mm, power 5,5–7,5 kW. Suitable for medium-sized pumping stations and industrial wastewater treatment plants.
High-power design (C.267–271) – solid passage 33–40 mm, power 12–30 kW. Head up to 63 m. Designed for main pumping stations requiring high head, deep wet wells and long-distance pumping.
Main components are made of GG25 cast iron, with a shaft made of AISI 420. Double mechanical seal – motor side ceramic/graphite (CA/CE/Viton), wet side silicon carbide (SiC/SiC/Viton). A seal leakage detector and AISI 316 cable entry in accordance with ATEX EN 60079 are standard equipment.
Protection rating IP 68, maximum immersion depth 20 m, medium temperature up to 40 °C, pH 6–10.

The high-performance variants (C.267–271) are optimised for maximum head (up to 63 m), not solids passage. The single-channel impeller with a smaller passage (33–40 mm) offers higher hydraulic efficiency, and the integrated cutting edge reliably handles fibrous debris. For applications involving coarse sludge without fibres, we recommend the VT range with a vortex impeller and a passage of 75–130 mm.
The Monocanal 80/2 has a 2-pole motor (2 850 rpm) and achieves a significantly higher head (63 m vs 23 m) at the same or lower power. The VT 100/4 has a 4-pole motor (1 450 rpm), a higher flow rate (210 m³/h vs 158 m³/h) and a larger solids passage (90–100 mm vs 33–60 mm). The choice depends on whether head (Monocanal 80/2) or flow rate and solids passage (VT 100/4) are the priority.
