Monocanal 80/4 is a submersible pump with a single-channel open impeller and a DN 80 PN 16 discharge flange. Unlike the 2-pole Monocanal 80/2, it uses a 4-pole motor (1,450 rpm) — lower speed means quieter operation, less wear and longer bearing life. Three versions from 1.5 to 3 kW.
The solids passage is 75 mm — significantly larger than that of the 2-pole Monocanal 80/2 (33–60 mm). The single-channel impeller with an integrated cutting edge (trancia-fibre) reliably handles fibrous materials, textile waste and solid particles.
The main components are made of GG25 cast iron. The shaft is made of AISI 420, and the chain ring of AISI 416. Double mechanical seal — motor side ceramic/graphite (CA/CE/Viton), wet side silicon carbide (SiC/SiC/Viton). A moisture sensor (seal leak detector) and an AISI 316 stainless steel cable entry compliant with ATEX EN 60079 are standard equipment.
IP 68 protection, maximum submergence 20 m, medium temperature up to 40 °C, pH 6–10. Cable 10 m.

The Monocanal 80/4 has a 4-pole motor (1 450 rpm) and a lower head (14.5 m vs 63 m), but a larger solids passage (75 mm vs 33–60 mm) and lower power consumption (1.5–3 kW vs 5.5–30 kW). Choose the M 80/2 for applications requiring high head, and the M 80/4 for quieter operation and a large solids passage.
The Monocanal 80/4 has a single-channel impeller with a cutting edge - it is designed for media containing fibrous contaminants that could clog a vortex impeller. The VT 80/4 has a larger solids passage (75–80 mm), but no cutting edge. Choose the Monocanal 80/4 for fibrous materials.
