Product description

KDN 65 (1 450 rpm) is a standardized horizontal single-stage pump in accordance with DIN-EN 733, supplied mounted on a baseplate with a flexible coupling. The nominal discharge nozzle diameter is DN 65 and the suction nozzle diameter is DN 80. Flanged connections: PN 16 in accordance with DIN 2533.

The volute casing is made of GG25 cast iron (UNI ISO 185), and the shaft is made of AISI 420 stainless steel. The impeller is made of GG25 cast iron and dynamically balanced. The standard mechanical seal is carbon/silicon carbide with Viton O-rings in accordance with DIN 24960. Gland packing (PTFE-impregnated ramie) is available on request.

Available as a hydraulic unit / wet end (bare shaft), a pump on a baseplate without a motor, or a complete motor-driven assembly. Casings 125–250 are available with a 4-pole motor. Fluid temperature: -10 °C to +140 °C; max. operating pressure: 16 bar.

The hydraulic section is identical. KDN 65 (1 450 rpm) is mounted on a baseplate, allows motor selection and is available in 5 casing sizes (including 315, which is not available in the enbloc range). KDN also features an AISI 420 shaft and Viton seals.

The 315 casing, with its large impellers (Ø 279–309), is designed for high flow rates at lower head. At 2 900 rpm, the power input would exceed reasonable limits for typical applications.

KDN pumps come with a 24-month warranty.
